This was the question we asked ourselves when tasked with bringing Apeel, the food tech start up that makes it possible for produce
to last twice as long, to life.
More than a message, Food Gone Good is a new way of thinking—one with the potential to cause a chain reaction inside the chain of food production. Because when produce lasts 2x-longer it helps reduce food waste, while save resources like water and energy, resources that can then fight climate change and help us create a longer-lasting planet for all.
Starting with a collection of social films or “epiphanies,” we brought Food Gone Good to life with a reminder that with every bite of Apeel you’re not just making a meal anymore — you’re making a difference.
Apeel’s unique visual identity is based on the product’s own protective layer.
Taking inspiration from an art form based on layering—screen-printing— we created a look and feel designed to make our produce stand out in the fruit bowl, and in the category.
