Dry July
Dry July is a charity asking people to give up alcohol during July to raise money for those affected by cancer. Ducking Autocorrect highlighted one of the benefits of giving up the booze for the month - text message autocorrects, a tell-tale sign of having had a few too many.
This campaign cost $0 to produce, let us say 'dick' and 'auto-erect,' and was hugely successful at targeting an audience who have no interest in taking a month off the booze. It also helped Dry July have their most successful year of fundraising ever.
